Chillin’ at the Edge

She was feeling reggae, body in blue
Maxi, Shabba, Eddy….any kind would do
Summer soon, but not just yet
Winter’s holding over Spring
A rather huge, unpaid debt

Note after note = rhythm and sway
Liquid is the feeling on this particular day
Let it go, let it be, it’s the music
That will help you see…..

Love me some reggae. 🙂 It hits the spot…along with some blues. I love BOTH when I’m painting. 😀

      🙂
      Takes me to a…..summer place.
Tell me Cyndi, can you tell the pieces you’ve painted while listening to the blues? As opposed to other types of music?

Yes, my last piece I painted partially to the blues (the green and blue acrylic painting I shared. 🙂 )

Aha! Literal to literal. If you were listening to reggae music I should expect a rainbow of colors in your creation? lol
What I love about music is that it can inspire (mood wise) the opposite of what it might imply!
Music is a “many splendid thing”:)
