I’m liking the rhythm of that song up there. I’m glad for good friends who would chat on a rainy Saturday night…friends who are at once part of yesteryear and today, who share in the common experiences of the human condition (in deference to our friend, Clark).

The rain did get here and raining to saturation, it is! The eye of the tropical depression will pass about 20 miles to the east of us. As for me, I’m grateful for this rainy day. It means that I get to do the work that I love, and possibly enjoy a movie with the SO. I can’t remember the last time we watched a movie together on a Sunday afternoon. It’s been at least half a decade. Maybe an entire decade! Wowza! THAT is something to be grateful for – an entire decade of having fun things to do on the weekend. lol.

Sometimes a rainy day is the perfect day. It never fails to set the scene and mood as movie day. I hope you’re able to fit in the movie 🙂 5 years is way too long to not have a “Sunday afternoon, movie day” together!

“The moment and the opportunity, seen and as yet unseen…” is such a hopeful, positive way to live, and ties in nicely with choice, too.
I know technology is ever-evolving, but I find it hard to embrace wanting something new when I’m still not 100% familiar with the old. May your laptop live a very long life!

lol I know exactly what you mean. I can’t remember when I stopped keeping up with all the “new gadgets” and now, I don’t really care.
I’ve been using the new one (not even a year old yet) but I still have certain things I prefer to do on the old one. And, the old one just “fits” me better 🙂
