Welcome all, to GirlieOnTheEdge. This is a “Thanksgiving” edition (for those who live in the U.S., Thursday is our Thanksgiving Day) of Six Sentence Stories, and I can say quite officially, I am thankful for all who participate in this blog hop 🙂 Imo, the act of giving thanks, privately or otherwise, is a beneficial practice. What else is beneficial? Why writing, of course! To that end, I offer up the link to this week’s Six Sentence Story Blog Hop. So, what say people, panic mode or not, let’s release our creativity and go wild! Get those fingers tapping on the keyboards and wander the wonderful world of words 🙂 Whatever the words, keep in mind a few simple rules for joining in the festivity:
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Come back here on Thursday, link your post…
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 🙂

Hobbes: Do you have an idea for your story yet?
Calvin: No, I’m waiting for inspiration. You can’t just turn on creativity like a faucet. You have to be in the right mood.
Hobbes: What mood is that?
Calvin: Last-minute panic. —Bill Watterson
