Our secrets are safe. It’s a 6.

Fingers, as gnarled as her favorite piece of driftwood rested uncertainly upon the touchscreen.

Surely he told me the security code, my fingers will remember the sequence, they must remember the sequence.

Eyebrows furrowed to compliment her growing frown; she let out a sigh of exasperation, whispering “why?”

Why, dear departed husband would you safe keep the passwords to all of our accounts in a receptacle so difficult to access instead of in a simple box under good old fashioned lock and key? At least then, I could call a locksmith.

Frustrated she could not recall the number sequence to open the safe; poised to concede defeat, she slowly closed her eyes, willed her mind to silence and once again placed her fingers upon the numbered key pad until she felt movement … 1 4 1 5 4 1

Indeed they are. We even have one for the ladies room at work but then, that’s probably the norm nowadays too!
Passwords, pass codes – who needs sudoku to keep our brains sharp lol

This is one of my fears. If I go wheels UP I only hope TLW will be able to find my PW file! And I hope if it’s the other way around…who am I kidding… she’ll outlive all of us! Great six . I could feel her frustration.

Yeah, I hear ya, Paul. Whoever thought passwords would have such importance!
      Thanks 🙂

for god knows what reason this song popped in my head (with the malapropisizing of code for signs)

I know how frustrating she must have felt. I’ve forgotten a password before and I was exasperated. Glad it came to her. Great six!

Me too! You swear you’ll never forget it but unless you use it fairly regularly it just gets put in the mixing bowl of forgotten passwords 😀
      Thanks, Susan!

We have them written into phone numbers in our phone number book, and only we know which contacts are real and which are passcodes. It was the only way we could think of to keep it all and be able to access it where no one else can.

I am sure this is a far from isolated incident. I bewilder myself at times trying to access a lesser used site for which I have no clue what the password or access code might be.

Glad to be here again Denise, i blew up my laptop with a cup of tea, and it took me the better part of a month to get one shipped to me up here… Missed you all!

Agreed. I feel your pain! I have accounts/passwords I wrote down 10 years ago. Thank goodness I remember where the list is, lol.

Damn! I always take for granted those kind of accidents will “never happen to me”. Long time for shipping!
It’s good to have you back, Violet 🙂

I have been scolded so much for keeping common code/passwords but I so dread losing them at the right time!

I know what you mean! Every time I create a “complicated” password, I regret it, lol.
