Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories! While the world walks the edge of panic and fear, insecurity and uncertainty, how about we take a deep breath; a step back. I have to ask myself this morning “why do I feel a little odd posting like business as usual? Have I allowed creeping tendrils of fear to reach out from my subconscious to put a wrench in an otherwise normal day? Well, you know what? Business as usual, folks. I’ve got the word. You’ve got the stories! Prince may be famous for “let’s go crazy” but here? We’re famous for let’s go writing! Have a most excellent week everyone. I’ll meet you at the usual place a little later in the week 🙂
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Come back here on Thursday, link your post…
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 🙂
PROMPT WORD: QUESTION
“Poetry isn’t an island, it is the bridge.
Poetry isn’t a ship, it is the lifeboat.
Poetry isn’t swimming. Poetry is water.”

Oh! A story just popped into my head!

I think your comments are spot on. If we can’t keep this virtual space fun and fear free; if we can’t be our usual selves, then we are really doing self harm. Isolation does NOT mean social isolation in the age of the internet. Write on. (In six sentences, no more, no less)
Well done Denise. Perfect, no QUESTION about it.
