Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories!
What is your go to source of energy? What is that one reliable, no cancellation ever, ticket to the state of mind where you feel you can do anything? Mine is music. With the right playlist, I can circumnavigate the globe, take a side trip to the moon and be back before dark. And it has often assisted me in my writing process. Among the vehicles that “recharge your battery”, the exercises that “ease stress”, writing is at the top of the list, non? So what do you say? Join us this week? You only need 6 sentences. Can be a story, a poem a vignette. Write some words. Tell us a story.
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Come back here on Thursday, link your post…
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 🙂

I typically write with no background noise, but if I do play music while writing, it is usually classical or meditation.

Ah. We are similar, Pat. Most of the time when I write, there isn’t any music playing however… there have been times when it seemed to definitely enhance my writing. Classical is a lovely choice for background music 🙂

Hmm. Depends on the day. Music is often the ticket for me. But sometimes it’s a walk outside. Sometimes it’s something else.

Walking is excellent. Can’t tell you how many times, my mind starts wandering (while walking) and all of a sudden I’ve got an idea, some words. Really good ones and… no way to write them down, lol.
