It’s Six Sentence Story Thursday Link Up!

Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and another edition of Six Sentence Stories! Consistency. Irrespective of Mr. Emerson’s view of “consistency” as espoused in his seminal work Self Reliance, there are certain facets of daily life where consistency is considered most valuable and beneficial. That’s right! Writing is one such activity that benefits from the consistency of doing it every day. And, if one does not write daily, the next best thing is once a week! Here, at GirlieOnTheEdge you are challenged weekly to write a story, or poem, or scene from a WIP (work in progress) in precisely 6 sentences. This being a blog hop, you are then invited to return here on Thursday (link opens early on Wednesday evening for early birds and international writers) and link the URL to your Six Sentence Story for both writers and readers to enjoy. We hope you’ll join us this week 🙂

Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Link the URL to your post via the blue “Click here to enter” button below.
Link is live Wednesday through Saturday night late!
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers  😀

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

Hello everyone! Have internet access only from work since last night. Please bear with me on getting over to read your fabulous Sixes and sharing them out if I haven’t already. Thanks 🙂

Dear Denise, so sorry about your Internet dilemma, hope it gets resolved soon (these are the times which try bloggers souls). I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU, for bearing with my blog transitions, and your willingness to link me up.

Seeing my regulars all present and happy to peek into Bedelia’s world today brightened my heart greatly. We never know what might keep us afloat during a fiasco like our current world situation, and even though I’m a woman of devout Christian Faith…my joy/hope/peace have frayed measurably.

I would never have guessed “Bedelia” would toss me a lifeline–that as she confronts her fears and issues, she encourages me to stand firm amid my own.

I’ve no idea what your blogging goal was originally, but be assured you’ve shown yourself to be a quiet messenger of hope–a holy mission indeed, whatever your spiritual beliefs. Thank you, and God bless you “bunches”! ❤

Thanks, Z+Z. It was fixed tonight. (yes, they are indeed) You are most welcome. Wasn’t entirely sure what was going on at first but the pieces started pulling together 😀

No doubt! I’m so glad everyone got over there 🙂 Reality, the world as it is now and becoming, is, for lack of better words, incredibly challenging. Now more than ever, it seems “the little things” have become even more valuable. Do hold the faith. It is the glue.

Amazing, isn’t it? Writing as conduit to a sense of peace, well being and courage. Our creative selves reaching out, providing us a place to stand.

      Thank you and ditto!

YES, faith is the beautiful glue!! Along with your assistance, I’m crediting the Holy Spirit living inside me for stirring the dry creative bones–and birthing dear Bedelia. Thank you–I want to hug you so hard ❤
