Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and another edition of Six Sentence Stories!
(Psst! Lean in a little. No. A little more. Don’t want to say this too loud). Clark told me a trick to use if I want to avoid using the new (shhhh!).. block editor. Worked just fine and dandy. And why wouldn’t it? ‘Tis the season of Trick or Treat after-all. (you guys know where I’m taking this, lol. humor me already.) Six Sentence Stories blog hop is absolutely all treat. Bring 6 sentences back here, beginning tonight after 6:00 PM EST US through almost the stroke of midnight Saturday, link up your URL and let the adventure begin! Story, poem, scene, memoir-ette or musing – whatever you want to surprise us with. We’d love to read you 🙂
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Link the URL to your post via the blue “Click here to enter” button below.
Link is live Wednesday through Saturday night late!
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 😀
PROMPT WORD: RESISTANCE
Okay, so what’s this trick to not using the block editor, or was that just a trick on your part? LOL! My contribution will go live tomorrow, Lord and WordPress willing.

I wrote the title of the post, saved it, then went back into the post to write/edit. When you go back into your draft, there should be an option for “classic editor” to the right of “edit”. By clicking on that, I edited the way I always have. The block writer wasn’t as difficult as I anticipated and I wrote a post fairly quickly but I just kind of like the “old” way 😀
Excellent. Let me know if you have trouble linking.

Are you finding this edit option in the post itself in the blockages or in the all posts section of your dashboard? It’s definitely worth a try.

I made out great! Thank you so much for sharing this tip. I included it on my blog, along with my six-sentence contribution at: https://abbiescorner.wordpress.com/2020/10/08/resistance-to-change-six-sentence-thursday/ I’ve also shared it with other bloggers I know who are struggling and don’t currently follow me. I appreciate your help.
