Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and another edition of Six Sentence Stories! Take a chance. Write a Six. What have you got to lose? Accept the challenge. Surely lesser on the scale of such things nowadays, yes? Escape. Catharsis. Community. Entertainment. Practice. Whatever your reason for writing, for writing a Six Sentence Story – persist, insist, produce. Benefits abound for both writer and reader. How often have we read a Six in the halls of this blog hop and said “holy shit damn, that was good!” (Apologies for the profanity as typically I write these SSS posts for a “G” rating however today, I’m taking a chance.) Bottom line: you have access to a writing challenge you know can be fun, frustrating, confounding and at times exasperating. Yet at the end of the day, there’s satisfaction in knowing you’ve written 6 sentences that otherwise may have languished in your brain’s locker room begging for a chance to suit up. Game time: 6:00 PM tonight. Meet you at the field!
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
