Iris. It’s a 6.

Finally an efficacious method for understanding the people in our world.

Impressive in it’s simplicity, challenging in application, who would leave home without it.

Like learning a new language, the more we use it the more fluent we become.

Translating what a person means, through actions and words, tells everything about them.

Everyone shares one reality divided by 3, identify the three and life becomes more simple.

Reconciling our lives with how others live in spite of our differences.

The crux of the problem is to “identify the three”. I’m still working on figuring that out.

Indeed, vexing at times 🙂 I find it helpful using the process of elimination. What is this one not .
That and the level of identification I feel.

There are some cases far beyond reconciliation. Good six.

It’s difficult understanding others but so interesting, learning so much in the process. I love our differences as much as i’m content with our samenesses.

No argument on that one, Arlene! I find being able to understand the why of the differences key in the ability to relate to people better.
      Different and same 🙂

I can’t even begin to say how much I love this! It would be interesting to know the different ways people interpret line five. I suspect I might come up with more than one interpretation.

Thank you so much, Pat! I’m glad you enjoyed it 🙂 Agreed. While I was referencing my favorite personality theory, it was also written to allow for open interpretation.

WOW, I’m nearly dumbstruck! I love acrostics very much…and I’m wondering about the “3” too–I’m guessing it’s Wakefield Doctrine. Anyway, what I caught was your response that it helps to eliminate what one is Not. You really sparked some great reactions to this Six, Denise–“filter” is a fine prompt (I just went with the easy take, Bedelia being caught up in her “on-the-fence romance” currently) 🙂 ❤ Enjoy the rest of your weekend, rest up! Blessings to you ❤

You guessed right, Jael 🙂 It’s been quite some time since I’ve written a 6 acrostic. Good to challenge ourselves! I love having a bird’s eye view into Bedelia’s world 🙂 Thank you. You as well ❤️

so you’re suggesting that Adam was a roger, Eve a clark and Satan a scott? (Metaphorically, of course)

yeah, the ambition to see the world as the other person is experiencing it is a worthwhile endeavor.

    fun Six, yo

Metaphorically? Without doubt, I am. Pretty clear to me.

Life tool 101, lol. It’s incredibly worthwhile. To have answered, basic vexing questions as to the “whys” of human behavior has totally been beneficial. A beginning point, it helps me understand how a situation or event might manifest for a person who doesn’t share my “personal reality”.

      Thanks, Clark.

      Thank you, Chris!
The prompt word, together with format, suited my reference to the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers 😀
