Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and another edition of Six Sentence Stories!
When is the best time to write? Nahh. Not going there, lol, as the question appears invalid, no? Which leave us with other questions perhaps such as: why haven’t I heard from (insert name of character) or why can’t I pick up the thread from that amazing snippet I wrote on the back of the cereal box before I rushed out the door to work this morning? “Writer’s condition“. Seemingly amorphous, it afflicts us all at one time or another. Not to worry! What better way to entice one’s muse than to tease it, cajole it out of hiding by throwing out the challenge. The Six Sentence Story challenge. How difficult (you say trying not to smile) is it to write a story or poem or new scene from the recent serial in exactly 6 sentences, anyway? Let’s show them how it’s done, shall we? 🙂
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.

PROMPT WORD: OCEAN
“In fiction, when you paint yourself into a corner, you can write a pair of suction cups onto the bottoms of your shoes and walk up the wall and out the skylight and see the sun breaking through the clouds. In nonfiction, you don’t have that luxury.” Tom Robbins
Thank you for the like, Paula 🙂 Writing a 6 this week? 🙂

So many ideas scribbled on little bit of paper… I should make a collage 😉

LOL Good to know I’m not the only one does that, Chris 😀
Like minds! I tried that once – took some bits and pieces of paper with half jotted sentences and such, and put them together various ways to see what I could see… Needless to say, I’ve not posted any of those experiments 🤣
