Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and another edition of Six Sentence Stories!
Reasons. No, not the very fine song by Earth Wind and Fire. Rather, the reasons we do what we do. The reasons to get out of bed every day. Drive. No, not the very fine song by R.E.M. Rather, what drives us. To write. To participate. Each of us has a creative streak running through us that pushes and pulls, stretches our hearts and minds, our sense of humor, like melting salt water taffy at the Jersey Shore, insisting we manifest that creativity through written word. Words lined up in an orderly fashion (alright! I won’t mention the very fine song by David Bowie 😆). Our challenge at Six Sentence Stories is to write those words in precisely 6 sentences and then link them here. Capice?
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.

Link is live Wednesday through Saturday night late!
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 😀
PROMPT WORD: JOURNEY
“I couldn’t live a week without a private library–indeed, I’d part with all my furniture and squat and sleep on the floor before I’d let go of the 1,500 or so books I possess.”
– H. P. Lovecraft
Top tunes, Denise 🙂 See you at the party!

I pretty much agree with Lovecraft–a full library of books I own is as crucial as food and water…and snacks 🙂
