Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories!
Are we ready to go again? I feel silly asking the question! We’re writers with stories to tell, poetry to show, fantastical, dramatic and incredible adventures streaming from our imaginations…. We participate in Six Sentence Stories to share our creative selves, to practice our craft and in the process meet some pretty awesome writers. Sure, it’s a risk. For those of us working on our writing chops, it’s a risk of feeling less than or like we’ll never improve our skills, a mountain too high. Yet, the beauty of this writing challenge is the opportunity to learn from others, from those writers who continue on the path to being a better writer. The diversity of writing shared here each week runs the gamut which is pretty cool because it provides something for everyone. Entertainment, example, feedback, connection to like minded persons.
