Regardless of our mood, state of mind, lack of sleep, too much sleep (yeah, like who has that problem, lol) there’s always a story to be discovered, words in need of arrangement, wanting for a little direction. Right? So who’s in the better position to help them along to that special and unique place that is a flash fiction story or piece of poetry or a scene from an ongoing serial? We are! Moderately middlin’ here. What does “aka soc” mean?

I hear ya, Michael.
It means “also known as stream of consciousness”. Consider it a type of writing akin to “farm to table” only more direct. In a writer’s context, it’s the thoughts in your head (or character’s head) put directly to “paper” without a lot of thought into structure, plot, etc. Coherent, yet totally “of the moment”. At least that’s my definition 😀
