Sunday’s Six Sentence Story Word Prompt!

Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories!
I’ve been missing out lately. On a lot. Swept away like beach sand ebbing. What has this to do with writing? Perhaps nothing, but that depends upon me. Like you, as one who enjoys writing, it is opportunity. Ne’er should opportunity be overlooked. Ever. See, we’re the lucky ones. We possess language to mold, create, share. We are story tellers, poets. We walk about landscapes unique unto ourselves. Is it not the coolest thing to create a character, place, events, atmosphere for others to: identify with, go hang out in, experience and otherwise engage? This is the café down the alley, bistro by the sea, nightclub at the ‘Edge of town. Welcome to Six Sentence Stories. Talk to the gentleman in the back of the room for explanation of the Rules below and we’ll read you a few days from now. In the meantime. It’s all out there. Retrieve it. Share it. In exactly 6 sentences.

Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Link up at Wednesday’s post. Link goes live at 6:00 pm through Saturday late…
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 😀

PROMPT WORDBLANKET

Writing, like life itself, is a voyage of discovery. The adventure is a metaphysical one: it is a way of approaching life indirectly, of acquiring a total rather than a partial view of the universe. The writer lives between the upper and lower worlds: he takes the path in order eventually to become the path himself.– Henry Miller
