Sunday’s Six Sentence Story Word Prompt!

Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories!
Yeah, so, ya know…the day began not ideally, lol. I went downstairs this morning and turned on Mr. Coffee (ours a relationship of reciprocity), then returned upstairs to await the go-go juice. A short time later, back downstairs to the kitchen, took the skim milk out of the ‘fridge and stood in front of Mr. Coffee. “Yes, Denise, putting coffee in the little basket is the secret.” Luckily, Groundhog Day was brief, lol. Speaking of brief, that’s what goes on here at GirlieOnTheEdge Wednesday evenings through Saturday right before pumpkin time. Writer’s gather in the Six Sentence Café and After-hours Bar. No cover charge. Per se. All that is asked is you bring a story, poetry, excerpt from a wip, a page from an “soc” rant or a tease of a memoir-ette, written in precisely 6 sentences. No more. No less. As host of this establishment, I’m here to encourage you to write a Six. It’s fun. It’s beneficial. It’s a good time. Where else can you hang with people across the planet and just chill?

Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Link up at Wednesday’s post. Link goes live at 6:00 pm through Saturday late…
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 😀

As birds’ wings beat the solid air without which none could fly so words freed by the imagination affirm reality by their flight.” – William Carlos Williams

No flight for me…just staying close to home, feet on the ground and eyes to the sky, wide and blue thru bared branches. ❤

Word on the street, tonight be an open mic night… words and stories, poems and secrets for those who drift in through the smoke and flickering neon.

    Can’t wait.
