Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and another edition of Six Sentence Stories!
It snowed! A bunch. 64 degrees this past Sunday. 10-12 inches of snow the following day (how wild is that, lol) and the gift of a day off as my office closed and extended the weekend. What does not close are the doors to this venue. Six Sentence Stories opens regardless of weather and circumstance as you and I gather every week to engage in marvelous storytelling. 6 sentences at a time. Doors open this evening at 6:00 pm eastern standard time U.S. Everyone is encouraged to bring a story or poem or scene from a wip using this week’s prompt word, then go mingle amongst yourselves. If you haven’t written yours yet, still plenty of time so…let’s write people!
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.

Link is live Wednesday 6:00 PM, ends way late Saturday night!
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 😀
PROMPT WORD: EXPRESS
“I wrote stories from the time I was a little girl, but I didn’t want to be a writer. I wanted to be an actress. I didn’t realize then that it’s the same impulse. It’s make-believe. It’s performance.” – Joan Didion

Good to see you, Chris! Why don’t you grab that table towards the back and catch your breath a bit 🙂
