Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories!
Raise your hands. Who of you are “jotters”? (yes, still using pen and paper!) Will one of you explain this to me, lol. And yo! Those of you of the younger demographic – to what do you attribute this thing? Or is age irrelevant? The writing of words on pieces of paper that somehow wind up not in the same place over time, discovered later, treasured trinkets (sometimes, lol), in a word, “jots”. At Six Sentence Stories, you might consider the 6 and only 6 sentences you write as “jottings” or, if you’re of a mind as Chris, Clark, A. Mage, Paul, and Reena to embark on a serial journey, we say “hurray”! Today, you are cordially invited to submit your piece of fiction, fantasy, essay, drama, poetry, soc or next scene in your serial story, presented in precisely 6 sentences, and join in the festivities here at the blog hop known as Six Sentence Stories. You’ll find hop rules below.
Write often. You never know where words will take you.
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Link up at Wednesday’s post. Link goes live at 6:00 pm through Saturday late…
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 😀
PROMPT WORD: JUICE
“It usually helps me write by reading – somehow the reading gear in your head turns the writing gear.” – Stephen Wright
Raising my hand proudly. My desk is littered with notepads and notebooks. Inspiration can strike anytime. I’ve been known to compose on the back of till slips and shopping lists. ✍️✍️✍️

Kudos for the notepads and notebooks, Chris. (with the exception of those till slips and shopping lists, of course, lol)
I’m a loose paper person – no journal or notebook. I suppose a notebook makes more sense!
I’ve often thought it would be kind of cool to have saved all the jottings and string them together creating different freestyle pieces.
Would I see a recurring theme even though the origins were independent of one another?

That’s an interesting thought. A collage of words, if you will!

Not soc proper… a distant relative perhaps 😉
