Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and another edition of Six Sentence Stories!
Yesterday was downright frostbitable. Oh, yes it was! How do I know? I went for a walk at lunch. Because I could. Beautiful, sunny, albeit a little breezy, so what if it’s winter! You can pull a faux fur lined parka hood over the hat on your damn head, just like I did, lol. I was covered, literally and metaphorically, ready to enjoy the world – out there. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Six Sentence Stories invites you to take a walk out there on the landscape that is your imagination. Tell us of your travels. In precisely 6 sentences. Fantasy, intrigue, mystery, poetry, historical, futuristic…need I go on? Write a Six Sentence Story, publish it, return here, link it up and with the click on a thumbnail we all have opportunity to make our worlds a little bit bigger. Because we can.
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.

PROMPT WORD: JUICE
– Philip José Farmer
I love that quote… the only body-building I’m like to do. Keep warm under that parka, Denise! You probably don’t want to know that it’s over 90F in the shade out in my yard just now.🥵

It is a good one! I absolutely will, Chris! Yeah, no. I’d rather not picture how lovely that is. Hope there’s at least a little breeze 🙂

Good post and good use of the cue.
We are expecting ice and snow in in the ATL…which has caused pre-snowpocalypse panic. I hate winter, the oven door steam UP my glasses, but I love kitchen smells and love to cook. Right now I can’t do much due to back pain and loopy pills. SEe the Orthopedic Surgeon on Tuesday. Have a safe weeekend.

Yuck! We’ve got the same thing coming here. Snow to ice to rain. Yay. Poor Paul! I’m sorry to hear that. I can relate to back stuff (adults who think they should skateboard probably shouldn’t, lol.) No, when you’re in that bad a shape there is nothing you can do. Will be thinking of you Tuesday. Hope all goes well. Thank you, you too.
