May I help you?
“Yeah, I’m here to claim redemption of time lost, from ya know, my life.”
Excuse me, I don’t believe I heard you correctly.
“Sure you did, heard me plain as day. Tell your boss I got a beef with him.”
I regret to inform you, my Boss doesn’t issue returns, think of it as “you break it,
you own it.”
Fantastic! 😊

I kindly beg to differ ; there is not regaining lost time but redemption for time lost is, under rare circumstances, possible.

Discourse is one of the many reasons for hangin’ at the SS Café and Bistro. Got an ‘in” with management. We can take as long as we need. Make yourself comfy.
(yo! Sandy! get this man a bigger ashtray)
Thank you, Spira.

Thankee, Mister Nick
Seeing how the cool jobs are (properly) being assumed by those more qualified (sociolinguistically-speaking)… aka Chris and Denise and Ford and jenne, I’ll be happy to be a parttime roadie when the acts you book are short-handed.
For my part, I won’t hesitate to ask your help at the times necessary to stall Interpol and/or any other authority-figures who might be stopping at the Café on a fishing trip.

Good warning at the end: you break it, you own it.

The trick is to learn the lesson prior to the end.
Once again, you bring the hammer, Frank.

That’s why we’re told to spend it wisely. Of course, we’re told that as young people when we have plenty left and aren’t quite wise enough to heed the warning…

So true, Mimi. So very true.
It’s the nature of youth (and life yet unlived) to take mortality for granted.
