Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and another edition of Six Sentence Stories!
We are gathered here together in the presence of…everyone, to share our stories or poems, scenes or socs. We link them (by their URL) through a blue-box portal (directly beneath the prompt word), where they are sent to a 2nd page, appearing as assorted thumbnail images. Click on one of those thumbnails and you’ll be instantly transported to 6 and only 6 sentences of creative writing. “Yeah, well what’s so special about that?” So glad you asked! Writing a SSS is one of those engaging activities, on face value, appears easy, but which may soon be discovered is not always simple. Having said that, it usually turns out to be a whole lot of fun. If you’re reading this post, I suspect you enjoy writing and so, we cordially invite you to take this week’s prompt word shown below and have a go at writing a Six Sentence Story. We, who frequent the Six Sentence Café and Bistro, are about practicing our craft while enjoying the company of others. Should you decide to accept the challenge to write a Six, we’ll be here from 6:00 pm tonight through this coming Saturday evening right up ’til 5 minutes to midnight, so link up when you can. We’ll leave the light on.
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Link the URL to your post via the blue “Click here to enter” button below.
Link is live Wednesday 6:00 PM, ends way late Saturday night!
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 😀

I’ve been a bit out of play lately, Denise… I can’t remember if I linked my last week’s Six Sentence Story or not; never mind – I’ll make sure I do this week! https://wp.me/pVkLb-5Ql
