Sunday’s Six Sentence Story Word Prompt!

Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories!
Greetings fellow writers from a sunny afternoon in the Mid-Atlantic. What stories will you have for us this week? It never ceases to amaze me, the treasure trove of emotion, conflict, and sensory overload that can be packed into a mere 6 sentences. Six Sentence Stories, the blog hop, provides an endless supply of entertainment and learning and engagement. Writing. The blank page a loom, words the threads, each of us working our loom until a story or poem or scene is woven. Always, you are cordially invited this and every week, to share with us exactly 6 sentences of material your imagination has produced. Spread your wares before us beginning Wednesday evening through the following Saturday evening. Be it heavy blanket, pashmina or poncho, we look forward to experiencing what your imaginations have produced. Enjoy your week!

Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Link up at Wednesday’s post. Link goes live at 6:00 pm through Saturday late…
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 😀

PROMPT WORDRHYTHM

Mostly, I straddle reality and the imagination. My reality needs imagination like a bulb needs a socket. My imagination needs reality like a blind man needs a cane.– Tom Waits

Straddling imagination’s good; I think I do it 75 per cent of the time! Very often, however, I fall in – and that’s when the fun really starts! 🙂

It’s funny how I can see the first scene in my head as soon as you post the prompt 🙂

The gap between imagination and reality is narrowing… at least in this writer’s head😜
