Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and another edition of Six Sentence Stories!
Expectations. We all have them at one time or another. And, at one time or another, we’re reminded, perhaps we should not. Have expectations. Of people (I thought I knew him/her better than that), places (doesn’t look at all like the pictures in the brochures), experiences (what the?! last time I listen to those film critics or 5 star restaurant, my a*#!). There is however, an exception. There is an expectation each week there will be a virtual event known as the Six Sentence Story Blog Hop. Speaking for myself, my expectations are always met as writers (you) take the prompt word, sit down with your Muse, write precisely 6 sentences and, beginning this very evening, return here to the ‘Edge and link the URL to your story, poem, the next scene from your serial story, or a smattering of soc. What do you say? Stop in, beginning this evening through Saturday night; lets swap stories. Read you soon.
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Link the URL to your post via the blue “Click here to enter” button below.
Link is live Wednesday 6:00 PM, ends way late Saturday night!
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 😀
