Which way to Everywhere? It’s a 6.

Lenny, your “mama said”, and sure ’nuff, ain’t it so but I got me a mama too; this is what she said, honey, the world’s a scary place, got to keep a steady pace

when hills turn into mountains, burn ’em straight on down; when streams turn into oceans, ride the waves, stay in motion

the world’s as wide as you make it, horizons farther than your eye alone can see; don’t let anyone tell you different, “be who you want to be“…

watch for walls, you’ll build them, that I know is certain, but one day you’ll find “those who see behind the curtain“…

emotions may roil like hot burning lava, volcanic eruption threatening to blow; channel them wisely yet let them flow

don’t allow fear to whisper too loudly, routine to rule the day; all this I tell you, knowing well “you hear only half of what I say“…

Powerful song for the times! We CANNOT forget who we are…it’s our only way back to our safe, real home.
    Love this.

It’s timeless, Liz. No, we can’t but it seems as if many have.
Thanks, Liz. I’m glad you felt it’s impact.

Thank you, Frank. I’m fond of that line as well.
If we’re lucky, we have a couple of those persons in our life.

PS – Don’t know how many Kiwis you’ve met (New Zealanders, not the birds in this case) but it’s just occurred to me that they would pronounce your blog as ‘The Sex Sintence Challenge. I’ll just leave that with you.

Beautiful language sounds, rhythms and rhymes, Denise. And the layout has its symmetry too. It could be its own song. Maybe a gentler one than Lenny’s.
    Wise words too

Thanks so much, Jenne. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
Achieving symmetry for this one for some reason was a little challenging.
      Yes, gentler.

My response to your last line: Mmm, what? Sorry, I wasn’t really listening…
