Sunday’s Six Sentence Story Word Prompt!

Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories!
We continue this week with another writer suggested prompt word, courtesy of D. Avery of ShiftnShake. It is the 3rd of 4 suggestions made at the Wednesday night link post a few weeks ago. Thank you. Participation is good. It encourages the feeling of “being a part of” which even the most solitary among us surely enjoys. This week, as I’ve done since March 15, 2018, I invite writers everywhere to participate in the blog hop known as Six Sentence Stories. The challenge? To use the word given today and write precisely 6 sentences. Of what? You tell us – a story, guide us on a journey through poetry, submerge us in the next installment of your serial. Then, return to the ‘Edge beginning Wednesday and link its URL. If you’ve never written a Six Sentence Story, you should. And if you have written a Six Sentence Story, well write another! You’ll find, after a while, it gets easier while the challenge grows. Cryptic, I know. If you’re a longtime Sixarian you know of what I speak. If you’re not, well, why not write a Six; see for yourself what happens when you begin writing Six Sentence Stories. And hey, don’t be shy about hanging out at the Six Sentence Café and Bistro. You never know who you’ll run into. Today. It’s yours. Participate.

Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Link up at Wednesday’s post. Link goes live at 6:00 pm through Saturday late…
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 😀

PROMPT WORD STRIKE

As a writer, you try to listen to what others aren’t saying…and write about the silence.”

Oooh, what a great quote from Hart! And “strike”…shouldn’t be too difficult 🙂 Catch you on the flip side 💖
