Sunday’s Six Sentence Story Word Prompt!

Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories!
We’ve had 4 weeks of writer’s choice prompt words. Been nice.  *pleasant exhale* Participation. I wasn’t all that much into it as a younger person though I did enjoy brief forays playing school sports. What can I say? Organized group activities were never my thing. “But um…Girlie? What is this you’re doing now?” With the exception, of course, of Six Sentence Stories! A blog hop that challenges us every week to write a story in precisely 6 sentences using the current prompt word. The thing about SSS is you don’t have to “show up for every game”.  But many of you do. And I love that you do. Because, I love being part of this community of writers. There! I said it. Yes. I do, in fact, enjoy being part of an organized activity. At the risk of sounding like a parent or coach… I expect to see all our regular team members here this coming week 😁 Folks new to Six Sentence Stories? Give it a shot (no, no pun intended, lol). Write a Six Sentence Story and come back to link it beginning this Wednesday. Something about this writing challenge drives us to write better. And when we write better, we feel better.
