Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories!
How’s everyone doing? Were any of you to respond with a comment along the lines of “ya know what, Denise, Girlie, whatever…not great. I’m in a stupid bad mood“, I would say “listen, pull up a chair….yeah, there’s fine… sit a while, read a few Sixes, chill, we’ll check back on you in a little bit“. The virtual world, this one, where you and I gather each week (yup, gonna say it again) is in many ways, more real than the “brick and mortar” one we walk out into each day. Six Sentence Stories is a multi-disciplined venue where we gather to share of our creative selves and in the process challenge ourselves, improve our writing chops, enjoy the company of those who love/like/enjoy, writing. It’s a venue to encourage and be encouraged. Each Sunday, a specific prompt word is offered challenging us to write exactly 6 sentences. Of what? You’ll have to ask your muse, won’t you. Fiction, mystery, poetry, serial story, soc. You’ll know it when you write it, so write it and share it here, in this borderless community known as Six Sentence Stories. Bring a story and sit back and chill….6 sentences at a time.
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Link up at Wednesday’s post. Link goes live at 6:00 pm through Saturday late…
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 😀
