Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories!
Tomorrow is the first day back to school where I live. Dreading it. For those of you living in or have lived in high density population areas, “back to school” makes for morning commute hell, lol. As you recall, my office moved. Since August 1, I’ve struggled with choosing the best route for less obnoxious traffic. Anticipation. It has the ability to be self-fulfilling – both good and bad. Beginning with our attitude “on approach”. The lesson as it pertains to writing? Sometimes we sit down to write and the light bulb’s burning 150 watts. Other times it’s barely cranking 15 watts. We persist. Why? Because we know what we’re capable of and because we know the more we do, the more we want to do. But sometimes it takes a little something extra to light the fire under our you know what 😉 Hold on – brain cogs turning… there! Begins with a “C”, ends with a “t”. (yeah, maybe just what we need) For today, we’ve been given a prompt word to use in exactly 6 sentences. So let’s take our typewriters, keyboards, legal pads. Let’s write some stories, people!! Let’s get fired up!!!
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
