Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and another edition of Six Sentence Stories!
Today is cold. Misting rain on and off earlier this morning, the wind huffing and puffing. It would appear the season has shown its impatience to move on. But it can’t. If the weather were a story, I would write it back to the beginning of summer. Alas, this is but fantasy. How….ever….., at Six Sentence Stories we can do whatever the heck we want with weather and the seasons and pretty much everything and anything else. The challenge, as we are acutely aware, is to do so in precisely 6 sentences. Challenge smallenge. We’ve all been around this hop long enough to know the methods by which to stretch our sentences. I myself have been known to make an offering at the alter of the punctuation gods. Regardless how long your story, poem, historical reminiscences, humorous observations, next chapter/episode/installment or the ever elusive soc, as long as they fit within the parameters of 6 sentences, I say bring those 6 sentences back to the ‘Edge, beginning tonight, and let’s get to some Six Sentence Story storytelling!
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
