Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories!
The sun shines through the blinds this morning. And, it appears it’s a Carlos Santana kind of morning. The song playing? “Moonflower”. I don’t believe I’ve heard it before. Discovery. Serendipitous or through research, discovery holds all kinds of power. The pathways leading to “discovery” are many. One of those pathways as we all know, is through writing. Enter Six Sentence Stories, a blog hop. A pathway. If you choose to step upon it. 6 sentences, exactly, the challenge. Are you up for this challenge? Do you dare yourself to accept it? Well, if you won’t, I will! I dare every single person reading this post to write a Six Sentence Story this week, return to the ‘Edge beginning Wednesday evening with a story, poem, next installment in your serial or a piece of soc. Whatsay? Shall we pack a bag and hit discovery road?
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Link up at Wednesday’s post. Link goes live at 6:00 pm through Saturday late…
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 😀
PROMPT WORD: BRANCH
“The English language is an arsenal of weapons. If you are going to brandish them without checking to see whether or not they are loaded, you must expect to have them explode in your face from time to time.” – Stephen Fry
Ah! Stephen Fry. I heard him as I read that quote! Marvelous!!

When I came across the quote, had no idea who it was until I googled him. Loved him in Bones.

Jeeves and Woostet, or Fry and Laurie. Just as P.G. Wodehouse imagined them:
