Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and another edition of Six Sentence Stories!
Thank you, Doug, for your last comment at Sunday’s prompt post. I love the first quote by Mr. Coetzee. Surely, a sentiment we can all identify with, for how is it we became writers and aspiring writers without first, the love of reading? I would wager every single person who participates in the Six Sentence Story Blog Hop, has many a story to tell of their childhood and the books they loved to read. Of course, this is not to say writing and the love of reading did not attract some of us later in life. Doesn’t matter when the magic of reading and the mystery of writing changed our lives, it is sufficient it did. What do you say my co-writers? Shall we share some magic? Some mystery? Shall we travel strange lands or back streets of imaginary places and tell a story? A story in exactly 6 sentences? I say let’s! Rendezvous back here, at the ‘Edge, 6:00 pm EST. Link your road map. Let’s travel imagination road.
Rules of the hop:
