Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories!
Here’s a question. When is it we realize we’ve become a better writer? Some of us write every day. No argument that’s a surefire method for improving more quickly than not writing every day. Yet, for those who write mostly for a writing prompt, when is it, or perhaps, what is it, alerts us when we’ve crossed a threshold? Yes, a bit of ruminating going on this gloomy, rain spattered morning in the Mid-Atlantic. How are you doing? How are your characters doing? Any new adventures? Imo, there’s no better place on the internet than here, at Six Sentence Stories, to tell of these adventures; to introduce new characters. Series or one offs, doesn’t matter. This is the venue for showcasing stories told in exactly 6 sentences. The venue and community challenging us to write better. Challenging us to keep the art of storytelling alive. Whatsay? Shall we gather round the fire pit beginning this Wednesday evening? Tell some more stories?
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Link up at Wednesday’s post. Link goes live at 6:00 pm through Saturday late…
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 😀
