Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories!
Maybe I need to break out the little pieces of paper (never intentional at the outset) to “jot stuff” down on. You know. We’ve talked about it before. Story ideas. Geographical locations. Creative little tidbits going unnoticed until they start jumping up and down trying to get our attention. Perhaps vestige of the fleeting image of a face in a dream right before we wake. How many potential story ideas are contained within our dreams? We’re writers. Each of us has a method to our madness (nope, I didn’t just say we were mad, lol) of writing and storytelling. Here, in the community that is Six Sentence Stories, we method write a story, poem, scene or soc in precisely the requisite number of 6 sentences. We tell our stories. We share our stories. Each of us creating a unique, virtual library available for anyone in the world to enter, pull up a chair and immerse themselves in our imaginations. How cool is that?
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Link up at Wednesday’s post. Link goes live at 6:00 pm through Saturday late…
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 😀
