Of Path and Destination. It’s a 6.

Stormtrooper soul stitched, sinew bindings zigzagging her life lines, the old woman made the arduous journey. Another vigil, vigil for the dying? “Attitude!” screamed the part of the aged one aware of her task. A knot is in need of untying; hands, nimble and gentle, were at the ready.  “Tis the season of magic and miracles, light and laughter, ’tis the season to celebrate all that was, all that is, all that will be. Outstretched arms, angel atop the tree intones, come all ye faithful…

One more knot, one more journey
The same hand, one more lifeline
    A vigil, a prayer, a tear belonging
A task, memories, a sigh foreboding
Yet, aged or not , I am here
Despite the distance, anger or fear
    Godsun warming embrace
Magic exists, the touch on your face
    Leaving no tear in vain.

      Beautiful poetry, Nick.
I’m telling you, the poet part of you appears to be demanding more “air time”.

        Thank you, Denise

Time of the solstice, time for night turning to longer days & times of low levels of ecstasy. Loosen ties to battles of the past and climb with the sun. As Marley (Bob) sings “Ev’ry little thing, is gonna be all right…”
Another stunner of a Six, D.

It is the best time, the 22nd being the “first day of summer” because yes! the days become longer, woo-hoo!
Listening to Bob, “Ev’ry little thing, is gonna be all right…” who would not believe it?
      Thanks, Liz.

I like your perspective on knots: “A knot is in need of untying” They are like a puzzle.
