Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories!
Good morning, all. The world – seems to “change” daily. I know, without receiving acknowledgement of it, many of us assign a negative value to these “changes”. And, we are not incorrect in our perception. Yet, we mustn’t lose sight of those people, things, activities and events that remind us, each day, of the positive, the good and the amazing. So what do we do with the myriad emotions that surface like submarines from the deepest depths of the ocean? We write. We create. We channel our emotions into stories and poetry, the next scenes in our ongoing story(ies). Here, in the Six Sentence Stories community, we accept the challenge of writing, processing and otherwise “catharsitizing” (what? I like the sound of it!) our emotions. Tell us a funny story, entertain us with mystery and romance or tease us with international espionage and intrigue. Write exactly 6 sentences using the current prompt word and return here, to the ‘Edge beginning Wednesday, and link the URL to your Six. Let’s process, practice and perform together. Now, let’s go get this day.
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Link up at Wednesday’s post. Link goes live at 6:00 pm through Saturday late…
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 😀
PROMPT WORD: PASTE
“Art never responds to the wish to make it democratic; it is not for everybody; it is only for those who are willing to undergo the effort needed to understand it.”
