Anybody Got the Time? It’s a 6.

No one appeared to be older at the end of the day; I certainly felt no older or worse the wear; I  marked the date on the calendar, this is one message from the Universe I won’t ignore.

I walked past the kitchen several times over the course of the day, you know, to peek in – was it still happening, was time still advancing, on this, the event to go down in company history as the “Valentine’s Day Space/Time Continuum Massacre”.

Oh, my God, you’ve got to see this, the clock in the kitchen, it’s going crazy!”

Laughter spilled from my co-worker’s mouth, “no, really, you’ve got to come see this“.  I followed Em into the office kitchen.

I stared at the clock on the wall, grabbed my cell phone and stood looking up at the wall clock whose hands were way busier than they should be.

This reminds me of the old children’s joke, “What time is it when an elephant sits on your fence?” “Time to get a new fence!”

Looks like it’s time to get a new clock.

As it turns out, Mimi, all it needed was a new battery which was finally replaced on day 3 (or was that day 30? 😉)

That is a crazy clock. I’d be checking in on that clock as well. Happy Valentine’s Space/Time Continuum Massacre Day.

Later in the afternoon, the clock hands were spinning even faster, lol
      Thanks, Frank!

My reaction Sadje, to the hands on the wall clock at work spinning crazy fast for 2 and a half days, lol

I couldn’t watch the video as it wouldn’t play for me.

I’m sorry you were unable to open Sadje. I uploaded to YouTube and used those links.
They are 2 videos with short commentary I took with my phone 2 days at work last week.
It was discovered the 2nd hand was racing around the clock so that the hour hand was trying to catch up. Could have been a week went by each day if you were to go by the clock on the kitchen wall, lol.

Haha! That’s one funny clock. Probably affected by time diarrhea!

It seems someone needed help to finish reading the chapter he was on and turn the page.

Denise, you should have had in the kitchen playing the theme from Inception 😆

Or, it could be that the Universe gave a gift to the Sun and Moon to embrace sooner on Valentine’s day…

If I could turn back ti-yum,
    If I could find a wa’eey,
I’d eat far less chok-lit, drink less wine
    On Valentine’s…

But I can’t, so a new battery will have to do.
    (Shrugs) 😉🤗

I will admit that I have sometimes felt that time was moving wonky while at work, but usually it’s going more slowly. This feels more like break time…

      I know that feeling, Anne!
This just made me laugh. Every time I went into the kitchen it seemed to go faster.
I was a little sad they put in a new battery on the third day 😉
