Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and another edition of Six Sentence Stories!
Where do our ideas come from? Every now and again, when none are banging loudly to let them in, it may take us a moment to connect a few dots. To recognize the seeds of something else. Something other than the literal thing we just experienced, witnessed, reacted to. The little things. I’ve always been a believer in the power of the “little things”. It is often the “little” nondescript, undramatic, sitting off in a corner by themselves, “things” that often possess the greatest potential. At Six Sentence Stories, we have opportunity to explore the “little things” in precisely 6 sentences. We leave exact word count to the other blog hops. At this blog hop, Six Sentence Stories, word count is not necessarily an issue if one has creative command of punctuation, lol. The invitation says: write exactly 6 sentences of poetry or prose, drama or mystery, fiction or science fiction. Tell us about the things that weren’t really so little after all.
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
