It’s Thursday’s Six Sentence Story Link Up!

Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and another edition of Six Sentence Stories!
What makes Wednesdays so special? Is it because posterity holds it, thanks to advertisers of old, as “Prince Spaghetti Day”? Could it be because for some of us it is a wfh day? Or because for others, it is the marker by which the work week is acknowledged as halfway through it’s timeclock? Sure. But it’s also the day the front doors of the Six Sentence Story Blog Hop open early. See the title up there? “Thursday’s Six Sentence Story Link Up!”.  Time zones vary. Somewhere across our planet it will be Thursday on someone’s Wednesday. So the invite’s out! Grab your writing gear and the prompt word provided below and write a – story, scene, poem – and do so in the requisite 6 sentences. Return here, to the ‘Edge, link the URL to your story and let the festivities begin. Party midweek people, party until almost midnight Saturday night. Let’s blow off some creative steam! (hm…steampunk. that still a thing?)

Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Link the URL to your post via the blue “Click here to enter” button below.
Link is live Wednesday 6:00 PM, ends way late Saturday night!

In nonfiction, you don’t have that luxury.” – Tom Robbins

Looks like I didn’t make it this… er… last week. I was kinda a little busy setting up a new-to-me desktop computer. The good news is that I finally have my own computer that it connected to the internet and don’t have to borrow my brother’s laptop for internet access anymore!
