Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and another edition of Six Sentence Stories!
Writing the “Wednesday Link Post” varies week to week. Sometimes the prompt word plays into what I write, at other times it’s the quote at the end of the post, if I have a quote when I begin writing, that is. Or, the words appearing here may have nothing to do with those two things. And yet, by the end of the post, more often than not, I recognize some hint of reflection of their influence. Subjective, certainly. Satisfying? Sure. Not quite as satisfying however, as having penned a story or next scene or soc or piece of poetry in precisely 6 sentences. I challenge everyone to tell me that at the end of the day, when you’ve completed your Six Sentence Story, you don’t have a sense of “damn, that was cool. And it’s only 6 sentences!”. Fun, frustrating, fulfilling, fabulous. Suitable adjectives to describe the process of writing a Six Sentence Story, non?
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.

Link is live Wednesday 6:00 PM, ends way late Saturday night!
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 😀
