Sunday’s Six Sentence Story Word Prompt!

Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories!
How about another “P” word? Yes? Alright! Let’s give a shout out to the Atomic Mage for his suggestion 😀 So. Stepping out. Of our normal environs. Of our daily routines. Intentional or not. It’s about disruption. Can be a positive thing. Can jar us back to the moment if we have the (insert prompt word) to notice. Let’s face it. There are occasions when we need to engage in a little disruption to routine to remind us of the point of now, this day. And if that provides insight, creative drive, energy – seize upon it. And in so doing, a story comes to mind, or a poem or a stream of consciousness (“soc”) piece? Frame it within 6 and only 6 sentences and share it. With us. At Six Sentence Stories, this coming Thursday evening (Wednesday evening if your time zone puts you in the future). Until then, enjoy each day. Be well. Create.

Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Link up at Wednesday’s post. Link goes live at 6:00 pm through Saturday late…
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 😀

PROMPT WORDPRESENCE

Literature adds to reality, it does not simply describe it. It enriches the necessary competencies that daily life requires and provides; and in this respect, it irrigates the deserts that our lives have already become.”

Opportunity, extending wide open arms to our creative selves, invites all to come out and play here at GirlieOnTheEdge every Wednesday – Saturday. Wanna come over and play? 😀

Sunday’s Six Sentence Story Word Prompt!

Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge. It’s Sunday aka Prompt Word Day for this coming Thursday’s Six Sentence Story blog hop. What a marvelous round of Sixes last week! Simple yet not always easy, I find Six Sentence Stories to be one of the most challenging, frustrating, yet totally enjoyable methods to practice our craft. If you haven’t written a Six yet, I hope you’ll consider doing so this week. It’s a boatload of fun, there’s an incredible array of fabulous reading and the best part is you’ll meet people from all over the world. How cool is that! Have a fantastic week everyone and I’ll look for you and your muse a little later in the week 🙂
