Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories! Another sunny Sunday, looks to be a gorgeous day. Writing… Where? When? The marvels of current technology allow us to write pretty much anywhere at any time of the day or night if we have a “device” nearby. We may not have a full blown draft perhaps, but there may be tidbits and snippets and thoughts from the moment, all of which go into the mixing bowl to produce our next? Six Sentence Story? Poem? Next episode of a serial? Next chapter of the newest book in the series?! Somewhere within all of those words are 6 sentences of a moment in time. So how about it? Join in this week with a Six Sentence Story? As the title implies and the hop rules remind – all you need are 6 and only 6 sentences. Have an excellent week everyone!
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Come back here on Thursday, link your post…
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 🙂
PROMPT WORD: COAT
“I’ve always said, ‘I have nothing to say, only to add.’ And it’s with each addition that the writing gets done. The first draft of anything is really just a track.”
― Gore Vidal
