It’s Six Sentence Story Thursday Link Up!

Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and the first October run of Six Sentence Stories! October, people. I said O-C-T-O-B-E-R. For those of us living in this hemisphere, we’re at the outset of fall. Rumor has it though that for folks like Pat, over to A season and a time, winter has made a preemptive appearance. Today, in the mid-Atlantic, we saw the mercury rise to a toasty 93 degrees and with it a fleeting feeling of sum, sum, summa time. *sigh* Won’t last. But you know what will last? What has lasted? This writing challenge! Passed down through the ages with each successive host, Six Sentence Stories opens it doors weekly and invites writers to share, in exactly and only 6 sentences, a story, poem or excerpt from their current (or past) works in progress. It’s challenging and a whole lotta fun. We hope you’ll join us this week! Read you soon 😀

Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Come back here on Thursday, link your post…
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 🙂
