We Interrupt Your Regular Programming!

Chris Hall will be celebrating the launch of her latest book, Spirit of the Shell Man, at the Six Sentence Café and Bistro this Friday, March 4, 2022. A talented writer, poet and all-around entrancing storyteller, Chris is an every-week author at the Six Sentence Story blog hop and we’re happy to add our voice (and enthusiasm) to this event.

In keeping with being a writer who laughs at boundaries and limitations, Chris will be in attendance at the newest hotspot in the virtual world (writing and fiction zone) to celebrate this milestone. To add Spirit of the Shell Man to your collection of other Chris Hall books, head over to luna’s on line and talk to the author herself. And be sure to stop by the Six Sentence Café and Bistro where the 7 Proprietors are throwing a launch party! Need directions, ask Clark or Spira. If running a bit last minute, reach out to Mimi, she’s everywhere and anywhere all at once. Ford? We’re hoping he won’t be pre-occupied with official business the entire day. You see an understated yet striking woman sitting at the table in the far back corner wearing a beret, that’s Jenne. If you’re lucky, she’ll engage you in conversation guaranteed to take you to another level.

Hope you can make it! There’s sure to be a crowd of amazing writers and artists and musicians…and more stories to tell.

(*Special thanks to Spira for putting together a killer promotional video.)

Sunday’s Six Sentence Story Word Prompt!

Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories!
Whew! What a week, eh? And it seems the engines are revving once again so hang on! One of the many things I love about Six Sentence Stories is the suspension of time. In any long established community, people may come and go. Like family members who live out of state, visiting only on the odd year holiday, folks who participate at the Six, well, you’re like that. We may read you week after week (which we love!) or you might show up every other Thursday or heck, just for holidays. Doesn’t matter. Time is irrelevant. Not here, not at the Six Sentence Café and Bistro. The invitation stands. You are cordially invited to join us this week and write 6 and precisely 6 sentences. Of what? Author’s choice – fiction, science fiction or fantasy. It may be poetry or philosophical musings, perhaps a spot of “soc”. Bring a crime drama or detective story, whatever’s been tickling your muse lately. Come back and see us beginning Wednesday evening, time posted below, and we’ll start rocking the joint. Speaking of! One of us has a special event coming up this Friday. Word on the street it’s a book launch for Chris! See her about the details. In the meantime, we look forward to reading your Six Sentence Stories. (Psst…don’t be spilling the beans but I heard there’s gonna be an after party for her at the  SSC&B.) Enjoy your week and keep on writing!

Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Link up at Wednesday’s post. Link goes live at 6:00 pm through Saturday late…
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 😀

PROMPT WORDBOOK

Nothing great is created suddenly, any more than a bunch of grapes or a fig. If you tell me that you desire a fig, I answer you that there must be a time. Let it first blossom then bear fruit, then ripen.” – Epictetus
