Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and another edition of Six Sentence Stories!
I don’t even have to ask – you had a similar reaction reading Brenda’s quote on Sunday’s post – “…prime it with a little solitude and idleness.” Uh huh. Sure, no prob! Yet sometimes it is. Oh, I’ve no doubt some of you could write in the middle of a hurricane or walking through the city and to be honest, there have been times those same type conditions have inspired me with words. For the most part though, seems as if a little Huck Finn time is what we all need to get the creative juices flowing. Wherever, however you’re inspired, we’d love to read of your adventures, of your character’s adventures or reminisces in the form of 6, and precisely 6, sentences. That’s what we do here. Tell stories, in 6 sentences. No more, no less. Please join us for story time here, at GirlieOnTheEdge.
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.

PROMPT WORD: BOWL
“I used to dig in the garden, and there isn’t anything fantastic or ultradimensional about crab grass… unless you are a SF writer, in which case, pretty soon you’re viewing crabgrass with suspicion. What are its real motives? And who sent it in the first place? The question I always found myself asking was, ‘What is it, really?’” – Philip K. Dick
