It’s Six Sentence Story Thursday Link Up!

Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and another edition of Six Sentence Stories!
Confession time. Very often I wake in the morning with a melody and/or lyrics to a song looping in my head, sometimes it’s a song I’ve not listened to in ages. Sometimes it’s not even a song I know well (what’s up with that, lol) And so I’ve thought “hmm.. perhaps I should write down the song titles each morning, return at the end of the week and see if there’s a story there“. Well, we all know the answer to that one kids, right? 😀 Needless to say, I’m appreciative of Mr. Bradbury’s encouraging advice in today’s quote. It is, after all, what we’ve been doing here at Six Sentence Stories, 52 weeks of the year for, well, a bunch of years. If you’ve a mind to, we’d love for you to write and link a 6 sentence story or poem or excerpt from a wip. Creativity. Let’s share it.

Sunday’s Six Sentence Story Word Prompt!

Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories! So, have I thanked you guys lately for participating in this, my favorite blog hop? If not, (and I don’t think I have) THANK YOU! Funny, when we think back on how we arrived at a certain place in our lives, doing certain things, there comes a day we exclaim “what?! how in the world did that happen?”. Hosting the SSS is kinda like that for me. I took the reigns from Zoe/IvyWalker who was passed the baton from the creator/mastermind of the hop, Josie Two Shoes and well, here we are. For we, who enjoy/love writing, who must write, I hope to read your Six Sentence Stories for a long time to come 🙂 For those folks (hi,Chelsea!) who stop in every now and then to read them, thank you as well. Have a marvelous week, write often, read more and I’ll catch you back here in a few days.

Rules of the hop:
