Sunday’s Six Sentence Story Word Prompt!

Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories!
When was the last time I opened up the Six for “Writer’s/Reader’s Choice” for the prompt word? I’m thinking it’s been awhile. In the past, we’ve had suggestions from Mimi and Paul, the Atomic Mage (fka TVTA), Lisa and others. What do you say? Anyone feeling a particular prompt word they’d like to suggest for the Six Sentence Stories‘ May 13, 2021 Edition? Let us know in a comment. We’ll have an informal vote – leave your choice in Comments. The word that receives the most votes will be chosen; the other suggestions will go on the list for use in successive weeks. Cool? Excellent. Soccer beckons. Have a most excellent week. Write. Then write some more. Read you soon!

Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Return here, link your post Wednesday night through Saturday late…
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 😀

Sunday’s Six Sentence Story Word Prompt!

Hello everyone! Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge. Today, I release, let fly, heave ho the prompt/cue word to use for this week’s Six Sentence Stories. I was asked recently, in an interview with D. Avery of ShiftnShake, how I chose the prompt words for the SSS. Well, this week’s word(s) came pouring into my head waving wildly – pick me, pick me! As I considered each of them (nowhere near computer, paper or pen), I decided to file them in the memory bank. If you’re familiar with “my people”, (clarks),  you know we carry around endless caravans of information in our heads, mountainous piles of “hey, maybe I might need this one day”. Thrown on that pile, I went to retrieve the word that screamed the loudest and realized, I’d forgotten it. Not the others. Just that one 😀  Please find below the runner up prompt word to use for the June 6, 2019 edition of Six Sentence Stories 🙂 Have a most excellent week all! Oh hey, if anyone sees the forgotten word trying to bum a ride, leave me a comment or e-mail me. We’ll use it next week. Ta, ta!

Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Come back here on Thursday, link your post…
