Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories!
Truth time? OK, so don’t go spreading this around but I’ve got Corey Taylor’s cover of “Holier Than Thou” playing in the background. And I’m not hating it. Yet nor am I getting why “Blacklist” but whatever, will save for a non Six Sentence Story post 🙂 Today, we are all about SSS. Today is the day you accept the challenge of writing a story or poem or scene from your serial story or upcoming book, heck even a bit of old fashioned stream o’ (soc). Whatever form you put it, remember the challenge: 6 sentences and only 6. Ask any one of our regular Sixers and they’ll tell you – once you’ve written one Six, chances are you’ll want to write more. It’s fun, a great way to get out of the “house”, and in no time you”ll be reaping the benefits. Six Sentence Story Blog Hop opens every Wednesday evening and runs through until 5 minutes before Saturday midnight. What say you? Ready to rock some words?
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Link up at Wednesday’s post. Link goes live at 6:00 pm through Saturday late…
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 😀
PROMPT WORD: METHOD
“If you’re writing about a character, if he’s a powerful character, unless you give him vulnerability, I don’t think he’ll be as interesting to the reader.” – Stan Lee
