Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories!
According to Time.com there are 11 holidays celebrated throughout the world in the month of December. To those who celebrate Christmas, Merry Christmas. To those who have already celebrated their holiday or will celebrate soon, may you feel the peace, love and hope they offer. An offering sufficient to sustain you as we close out this year and step into a new one. And if within that space you’ve a mind to, we invite you to write a Six Sentence Story. A story, poem or scene written in exactly 6 sentences. If I’m not mistaken, this week’s hop is the last Sixarian gathering of 2023. Where did the time go?! Enjoy, be safe and embrace the magic.
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Link up at Wednesday’s post. Link goes live at 6:00 pm through Saturday late…
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers.
PROMPT WORD: JINGLE
“Rhythm is one of the most powerful of pleasures, and when we feel a pleasurable rhythm, we hope it will continue. When it does, it grows sweeter.” – Mary Oliver
