Sunday’s Six Sentence Story Word Prompt!

Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories!
I am never not amazed at the enormous potential in the act of writing. And yet, I’ll acknowledge it is (to me), a daunting task. And yet, it contains the potential to be a most enjoyable exercise. As in any endeavor we undertake, be it learning a new instrument, taking voice lessons or learning the art of origami, it is in the consistent doing of a thing that paves the way for achieving better proficiency if that is our goal. At Six Sentence Stories, we have a vehicle by which to improve our writing skills or simply a place to have fun. Today, we extend an invitation to share your stories and adventures, poetry and musings, new chapter in your serial story or some good old fashioned soc using the prompt word below. Write 6 and only 6 sentences, return here beginning Wednesday evening, and link your story via the Inlinkz portal. Side note: do not think your absence in any given week goes unnoticed. We recognize irl events and goings on and such may keep us from writing and linking a Six.
