Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and another edition of Six Sentence Stories!
A week has passed already?! Once upon a time I’d think “damn, time is passing so quickly, it’s already (fill in day, month)”. Now? You can skip days. Who can keep track of the month and the year, lol. Speaking of “time passages”, Mr. Stewart, I must get ready for my pending road trip. Immediately, “Roadmarks” by Roger Zelazny and “Time Storm” by Gordon Dickson, come to mind. Writing. It is a powerful medium. It has the ability to transport us to places just as real as the convenience store down the street, bring us to tears or laughter or cause us to scream out in anger or fear. It has potential for all manner of revelation and can be as simple as the morning dew. Six Sentence Stories offers a venue by which to share our stories and adventures, insights and desires, in exactly 6 sentences. A challenge, an opportunity. Each and every week, beginning this evening, a community of writers drop in at the ‘Edge telling of their recent adventures. What do you say? Pack a bag and hit the road?
Rules of the hop:
